Crabtree Speaks Out

Texas Tech highly regarded wide receiver Michael Crabtree addressed the media at the 2009 NFL combine about his foot injury. Crabtree played the entire season with this injured foot and still put up decent numbers. He will work out for the scouts before he has surgery. Doctors mentioned that the healing process would take 10 weeks or so until the foot is completely healed. Raider Nation will be pleased during the 2009 draft because Crabtree is expect to be a top 5 pick.

Today is the day for college bowl games to start playing. I’m really not that big of a fan around this time, especially for games that are before Christmas. It’s really a waste of MY time. I’m not watching a bowl game called the “EagleBank Bowl,” that’s not my cup of tea. The NCAA and these universitites are really starting to get out of hand with all of these made up bowl games. McCoys passing rate was 2nd behind Bradford, a quarterback that probably threw 15 to 20 more passes per game than McCoy.

McCoy, McCoy, McCoy. I really feel bad for what happened to the Longhorn’s and you this year. The Heisman presentation was not given to the right guy in my mind. McCoy stats this year were outstanding for a quarterback that didn’t throw the ball that much compared to Bradford and Tebow’s offensive statistics. Read more
