Kobe & LeBron were not the guys to watch!

January 20, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

With less than two minutes into the game Kobe dislocated his ring finger trying to guard LeBron James (FYI….Kobe your defending a MAN Child). TNT definitely fooled me, I thought I was going to see a Magic versus Bird match up in the Staple Center. Read more

Classy Move Mr. Young!

Mr. Young will stay put with the Texas Rangers

Mr. Young will stay put with the Texas Rangers

Micheal Young stepped up for his team and for the Rangers organization. Jon Daniels and Young closed the deal on this outcome that could have went bad for the Rangers. I think it was a great move by both parties to accept this change. This allows the Rangers to have a number of great players on the field all at once. I don’t think the Rangers would have traded Young unless they got something great out of it and plus I don’t think Young really wanted to go anywhere else anyway. Read more

Meeks goes for 54 points against the Vols.

Jodie Meeks, University of Kentucky guard went for 54 points against the Vols. Wake up NBA, this guys is no joke. To go into Tennessee and rewrite Kentucky’s record book in college basketball is something that the sports world must know about. The Wildcats went to work against Tennessee in a 90-72 win, while Meeks accounted for 60 percent of Kentucky points, ridiculous. Read more

Will Burress be back next season with the Giants?

Will Burress be back next season with the Giants?

Jay Reese, GM of the New York Football Giants understood that there was one element missing in the loss against the Eagles, Burress.  When P. Burress was on the team, the Giants went 11-1 and without him they looked like they could be beat if they faced the right team. Make no mistake the Giants organization will do everything in their power to make sure P. Burress has the an opportunity to rejoin the team next season. Reese has definitely put it out there that the Giants still plan on looking into free agency just in case Burress is sentence to jail. The Eagles defense continues to step up each week, while McNabb and the offense keeps everything under control. It was a cold day in New York with the number one seed dropping the ball against a team that wasn’t suppose to make it to the playoffs. Jim Johnson and the Eagles defense knew exactly what they had to do in order to stop the New York Football Giants. Stop the running game and force Mr. “Young” Manning to throw the ball in bad weather conditions. Read more

Adam Jones was released Wednesday by the Dallas Cowboys.

Big news came out of Valley Ranch on Wednesday. Adam “Pacman” Jones was released from the Cowboys after an ESPN reporter released some information regarding a 2007 shooting in Atlanta which will air this Sunday on ESPN. If you don’t think the media can get you fired, think again buddy. The crazy thing about this topic is that Jones hasn’t been convicted of anything. Read more

YANKEES GET PAID IN NYC!

Mark Teixeira was the next Yankees player to get PAID.

Another check from the New York Yankees is being cashed again. Mark Teixeira and the Yankees agreed to an eight-year deal worth $180 million dollars. Yankee fans have to be ready for the season with all the superstars on their team. NOT SO FAST, MY FRIEND…..If the Yankees don’t win the World Series, this might go down as the worst “they look good on paper” team in the MLB and a major blow for the GM/player personnel.

Moving ON!

Another pick for 6 by Asante Sameul CB of the Eagles.

Another pick for 6 by Asante Samuel CB of the Eagles.

Once again the Eagles have proven that a team with a great defense will lead you closer to a trip to Tampa. Jackson QB of the Vikings went 15 for 35 in passing attempts, while Peterson was held to under a 100 yards. The Eagles offense did exactly what they needed to do, control the ball and make one or two big time plays. Westbrook went for 83 receiving yards and scored a major touchdown that strengthen the Eagles lead.  The icing on the cake was DeSean Jackson and big time play maker Asante Samuel. Read more

Big game last night between the Chargers and the Colts. It wasn’t easy trying to put away MVP, P. Manning and his go to receiver, Reggie Wayne. The Colts had every opportunity to score in the second half and not send the game into overtime. Darren Sproles played a fantastic game and was the key to the Chargers win. Standing at 5′7 and weighting a 180 pounds probably wet, Sproles pretty much increased his stock on the RB market.  Read more
