Classy Move Mr. Young!

Mr. Young will stay put with the Texas Rangers

Micheal Young stepped up for his team and for the Rangers organization. Jon Daniels and Young closed the deal on this outcome that could have went bad for the Rangers. I think it was a great move by both parties to accept this change. This allows the Rangers to have a number of great players on the field all at once. I don’t think the Rangers would have traded Young unless they got something great out of it and plus I don’t think Young really wanted to go anywhere else anyway. The DFW area loves this stand up guy. This move will benefit Young in the long run especially when it’s time to renegotiate his contract. He is following the A-Rod move when he went to the Yankees a couple of years back. Everybody knew that Jeter wasn’t going to move anywhere, so A-Rod stepped up and learned the 3rd base position.
