Why was Adam Jones really released?

Big news came out of Valley Ranch on Wednesday. Adam “Pacman” Jones was released from the Cowboys after an ESPN reporter released some information regarding a 2007 shooting in Atlanta which will air this Sunday on ESPN. If you don’t think the media can get you fired, think again buddy. The crazy thing about this topic is that Jones hasn’t been convicted of anything. Read more

Once again the Eagles have proven that a team with a great defense will lead you closer to a trip to Tampa. Jackson QB of the Vikings went 15 for 35 in passing attempts, while Peterson was held to under a 100 yards. The Eagles offense did exactly what they needed to do, control the ball and make one or two big time plays. Westbrook went for 83 receiving yards and scored a major touchdown that strengthen the Eagles lead. The icing on the cake was DeSean Jackson and big time play maker Asante Samuel. Read more
Big Win in San Diego

Big game last night between the Chargers and the Colts. It wasn’t easy trying to put away MVP, P. Manning and his go to receiver, Reggie Wayne. The Colts had every opportunity to score in the second half and not send the game into overtime. Darren Sproles played a fantastic game and was the key to the Chargers win. Standing at 5′7 and weighting a 180 pounds probably wet, Sproles pretty much increased his stock on the RB market. Read more
Watch what you say, Jones!

Thomas Jones, running back of the New York Jets, words might come back and haunt him in the future. Jones recently spoke out to the media and started talking bull about Brett Favre’s performance in the 24-17 loss against Miami. Favre threw 3 interceptions that cost the Jets a chance to make it to the playoffs and the firing of Mangini. I have a couple of problems with this story and it starts with Mr. Jones. Read more
The Firing has Begun!

It’s time to say goodbye to the 2008 NFL coaches that just couldn’t get the job done. Detroit, Denver, Cleveland and the New York Jets fired their head coaches after the last week of the regular season. A team that goes 0-16 has no place in the National Football League and should be penalized for such a horrible and embarrassing record. The firing of Mike Shanahan wasn’t surprising to me at all. When your overall record is 24-24 from the last three seasons and your team has a crazy meltdown during the middle of the season, you should get fired, period. These NFL owners now a days are pretty much tired of dealing with a losing season and not making it to the playoffs. Read more

What in the world happened to the Dallas Cowboys? I’ve never seen the Cowboys play like this. The passion for making it to the playoffs was gone completely at halftime. Kevin Garnett’s quote has come true “Anything is POSSIBLE.” The Eagles needed a couple of things (aka “a freakin miracle”) to work in their favor and it happened. I can’t believe it. The number three defense in the NFL displayed a work of art throughout the game. A number of turnovers created by Pro Bowler Brain Dawkins added 14 points for the Eagles defense. Where did the other 30 points come from?I didn’t think the Eagles offense would put up that many points against the Cowboys defense. So, where do the Cowboys go from here? I hope in a more positive direction. We shall see. Take Care Sports World.
P.S. Big shout out to my boy Joselio Hanson for “takin it to the house for 6″

Week 17! This is it for those teams trying to get into playoffs. The NFL has a couple of great matches this weekend that will cost a number of coaches their jobs. Players in the league don’t start to become play makers until after week 6 or 7 in my mind or until their team needs a big win. FYI….The money is on the table for each player that’s in their final year of their contract or if they are trying to restructure their deal. Which player will make a name for themselves to get that money? Pennington heads to New York to face his former team and fans. Read more
Monday Night is Primetime Football!

What a game last night! Monday night football is always primetime football across the country. This time of the year NFL players and coaches start to earn their paychecks. There’s no more running through the motions or acting like you are hurt and can’t go for a game. This was the 176th regular season meeting between the Bears and Packers, the most played series in NFL history.
