The Firing has Begun!
December 31, 2008 by admin
It’s time to say goodbye to the 2008 NFL coaches that just couldn’t get the job done. Detroit, Denver, Cleveland and the New York Jets fired their head coaches after the last week of the regular season. A team that goes 0-16 has no place in the National Football League and should be penalized for such a horrible and embarrassing record. The firing of Mike Shanahan wasn’t surprising to me at all. When your overall record is 24-24 from the last three seasons and your team has a crazy meltdown during the middle of the season, you should get fired, period. These NFL owners now a days are pretty much tired of dealing with a losing season and not making it to the playoffs. You have to win or at least have a productive season to keep your owner’s confidence high about the future of the team. I hope these coaches are able to bounce back, and wish them good luck.
