Jodie Meeks, University of Kentucky guard went for 54 points against the Vols. Wake up NBA, this guys is no joke. To go into Tennessee and rewrite Kentucky’s record book in college basketball is something that the sports world must know about. The Wildcats went to work against Tennessee in a 90-72 win, while Meeks accounted for 60 percent of Kentucky points, ridiculous. The Vols had no answer whatsoever for this guy. He simply played with them all night long. When you have the ability to shoot the way Meeks did against a couple of high profile players from Tennessee. The respect that he just earned across the college basketball scene will probably land him in a good spot in this upcoming NBA draft if he decides to go.
