Watch what you say, Jones!

Thomas Jones is not a household name yet but he speaks out about a future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Thomas Jones, running back of the New York Jets, words might come back and haunt him in the future. Jones recently spoke out to the media and started talking bull about Brett Favre’s performance in the 24-17 loss against Miami. Favre threw 3 interceptions that cost the Jets a chance to make it to the playoffs and the firing of Mangini. I have a couple of problems with this story and it starts with Mr. Jones. If you are going to come out and start talking about your team and especially your quarterback first make sure you had a successful season and contributed big time in the game that your team just lost. Second, please inform your teammates and coaches about your feelings before you go out and tell the whole world. I really have a problem with players or coaches throwing their teammates and coaches under the bus. The word family is no longer associated with professional teams anymore. It’s all about me, myself and I (plus give me my money). I felt really bad for Favre because I think he had an okay season with a team that wasn’t promised to make it over 500. There is definitely going to come a time when Jones preforms horrible in a big time game, and then he will know what it feels like to be in Brett Favre’s shoes. Wait and see.
