Why was Adam Jones really released?
January 8, 2009 by admin
Big news came out of Valley Ranch on Wednesday. Adam “Pacman” Jones was released from the Cowboys after an ESPN reporter released some information regarding a 2007 shooting in Atlanta which will air this Sunday on ESPN. If you don’t think the media can get you fired, think again buddy. The crazy thing about this topic is that Jones hasn’t been convicted of anything. I truly think Dallas was the right place for Jones simply because the DFW area holds each athlete that’s affiliated with one of the local sports teams accountable for their off the field actions at all times. They say it’s tough playing in New York but Dallas is no longer a joke. As a player, you better be ready to receive the fame but also take the heat when it comes your way. I don’t think the 2007 shooting in Atlanta was the reason Jones was released. It’s something else and we need to get to the bottom of it.
